Tree Spirit White is a white tea of remarkable purity, crafted with precision at Five Trees Estate in Myanmar's Mogok region. Made from the fine plucking standard (one bud and two leaves), this tea embodies the harmony between nature and tradition, capturing the essence of its highland origins.

Gently withered over one to two days, the leaves naturally cure in their own juices, enhancing their delicate sweetness. This patient, unhurried process preserves the tea's active enzymes and polyphenols, delivering a cup rich in complexity and depth. Free from fixation and rolling, Tree Spirit White remains true to its natural character, reminiscent of the age-old craft of herb preparation.

The dry leaves present a striking contrast: silver, downy buds interwoven with deep forest-green leaves, exuding an elegant floral fragrance with hints of chrysanthemum, sunflower seed, and fresh herbs.

When steeped, the infusion unfurls into a luminous and light yellow-green liquor, releasing a bright, zesty aroma evocative of sweet pea blossoms. It is smooth and refined on the palate, offering a gentle balance of chrysanthemum, honeysuckle pear and lime blossom, underscored by delicate mineral notes.

Rooted in the legend of ‘Yoke Ka Zoe,’ a guardian spirit believed to protect the land, Tree Spirit White is more than just a tea - it is a reflection of the deep connection between Myanmar's pristine landscapes and the artisans who bring this extraordinary tea to life.

Each sip savoured is a journey into the heart of Mogok, where time-honoured techniques and the forest's whispers converge in a cup of unparalleled grace.

Infusion Recommendations:
Our brewing recommendation follows the preferred guide from the Five Trees Estate.

This tea can
be infused at least three times, with each infusion bringing deeper layers of flavour, and passionate tea lovers may even find further complexity on each brew. Use hotter water for subsequent brews and adjust brewing time for desired strength.

Also excellent cold brewed overnight by having 8-12g of tea in a 1 litre jug of water placed in the fridge over 15 hours. Adjust quantity to taste.
